What economic problems do Americans consider as ’serious’ in their lives? According to an April, 2008 survey by the Kaiser Family Foundation, paying for gasoline is the problem that most people mentioned as a serious problem. The full results of the survey are below:
44% - Problems paying for gas
29% - Problems getting a good-paying job or a raise in pay
28% - Problems paying for health care and health insurance
19% - Problems paying your rent or mortgage
18% - Problems paying for food
18% - Problems with credit card debt or other personal debt
16% - Losing money in the stock market
