Who is the leading crude oil supplier to the USA? Canada?

Who are top suppliers of crude oil to the USA? Canada, not Saudi Arabia, is the top supplier in February (2008) according to the Energy Information Administration (EIA) of the U.S. Government.

According to IEA, in 2004 Middle Eastern countries produced 29% of world oil production, North America accounted for 19%, with the remaining 52% dispersed around the globe. All OPEC countries together (including those outside the Mideast) accounted for about 40% of the world’s oil production.

The top countries supplying crude oil to the USA are ranked below:
