Kids With A Cause uses young entertainers to help kids worldwide

Kids With A Cause (KWAC) is a Los Angeles-based charity whose members are young performers in the Entertainment Industry (film, television, stage and music), such as Hilary Duff, who donate their time and talent to bring hope and happiness to children in the USA and around the world suffering from poverty, lack of education or health-related issues. International programs currently support programs in Mexico, Nicaragua and India.

KWAC’s programs enable these young performers to participate in the development and implementation of programs and projects designed to improve the quality of life for less fortunate youth.

The Helping Hands program is a free program to help all kids keep up with KWAC’s activities and help in their own local communities.

In addition to local American projects, such as Comfort Zones for pediatric patients and reading programs, KWAC supports international projects such as:

India - “Food for Thought” - Supports a school lunch program for children in Chennai, India … many of their family’s small huts were destroyed by the tsunami tragedy. And for most of these young students, lunch is the only meal of the day.

Nicaragua - KWAC is raising funds ($150,000 targeted) to build a village of 20 houses and a school for many low income children and families who live in cardboard and plastic houses.

Mexico - KWAC delivers food, clothing and other basic needs to orphans in Mexico.
