U.S. Doctors for Africa treating HIV/AIDS & infectious diseases

U.S. Doctors for Africa, with head office in California, is an American charity that focuses on HIV/AIDS and other infectious diseases affecting Africa.
Some of their projects include:
Ethiopia- Supporting the Zewditu Memorial Hospital in Addis Ababa City by providing technical services, medical training, supplies and equipment.
Tanzania - working with Tanzania’s National Care and Treatment Plan to provide HIV-positive residents with with medical care, building the health care infrastructure of Tanzania (training, facilities, equipment) and to increase education and communication efforts related to public understanding of HIV/AIDS and other diseases.
Africa USA Sister Hospitals Partnership Project - Medical manpower and resources will be shared between United States hospitals and African medical facilities to treat HIV/AIDS and other diseases.
Project Uganda - Assisting Outreach to Africa to help children in Uganda orphaned or disadvantaged by HIV/AIDS.
Sierra Leone- will construct a medical clinic in Freetown for medical care, AIDS prevention, women’s health and other medical services.
Project Mobile Clinic Africa- an effort to treat over 20,000 people every month for the next 5 to 10 years through the cooperation of American partners and the Minister of Health of African Nations. Mobile clinics travel to remote villages to treat tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS, measles, yellow fever, influenza and other problem medical conditions.
